My name is Alexis, Im 18 and live in Scotland. I joined dA a few years back mainly to improve my design technique and to showcase my art. Over the years I have seen some fantastic art submission, most of which I find myself drooling at. I used to have more time to sit and design all sorts of graphics but with studing I find that I can't keep up and I lose all my idea's. Due to long break from dA my messages pile up and I never get round to thanking people for so much support. I have over 900 feedback messages in my inbox at the moment and will try to get to them all but I wont be able to thank everyone. I just want to take this oppertunity to thank everyone and to say that I really do appreciate it. If you want to know anymore please don't hesitate to note me and ask.



Along with many things I try my hand at everything. I would consider myself to be an amature photographer but I'm always willing to try new things. I have been 2nd company photographer at a wedding reception and I have done quite a lot of head shots for friends and family. If you have looked at my gallery you will probably find that I usually use my cats as models for my photography, they are probably the only patient once that I photograph. Over the coming months I am hoping to upload more of my photographs to see if the quality is up to standards.



The one area of my design that I really should try and keep up is my photo manipulations. I used to get so many idea's for submission but recently the inspiration is gone. My strengths with in the photo editing aren't as steady as most here at dA, a lot of my work is from years ago and the standards aren't as good as I would hope but over the coming months/years I am hoping to improve on my style and try different techniques to try and get to the standard of the best artists here.



I have a fair few journal CSS submissions with in my gallery and I promise more to come. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and when designs and coding aren't going my way that particular deisgn goes into the trash and I start again. I have a few idea's for journal deisgns but they are yet to come once I have time to sit and design them, once they are designed I might take a little while before I start to code them too. If you like my journal skins please show some support so I know what features people like and those they don't.

My stamp collection is growing slowly but surely. I started a project about a year ago to make all the flags of the world into stamps. I hadn't expected it to take me this long to complete the project but with there being so many I didn't want to over run my gallery with stamps. My collection stands at 80+ at the moment and a few funny stamps as well. I intend to make more flags and more humour stamps in the coming months so keep an eye out. I realise that there are so many stamps on dA so I do appologise if I make a stamp that is already there, I just want to point out that I am not copying or ripping anyone, with the thousands of members and millions of submissions there are bound to be millions of duplications.

Wesbite designs are not high on my list when it comes to designing I love designing new themes for message boards. I have designed a good hundred of skins but over the years I have lost the links and the designs. I hope to add some to my gallery soon, I might just design new ones but I might try and find some of my older ones since I coded most of them.



I'm pretty generous when it comes to faving work and watching artists. If I see something I like I will fave it and I will check out your gallery, if I see more that I like I will watch you. I try to watch up and coming artists more to try and show my support. I appreciate that you thanks me for faving/watching but you really don't have to, I wouldn't do it if I didn't want to. I also want to take the oppertunity to thank everyone again for all the faves and the watches I have recieved while I wasn't at dA. I really do appreciate it.



I visit quite a few groups quite a lot and use various stock artists, once I gather all of them i will add them all but here are just a couple. Please visit their gallery and see what wonderful art they submit.
